Inspections completed on Land Gorilla's mobile app have multiple workflow options that provide different benefits to the user performing the inspection on behalf of the inspection company.
This workflow option will allow the end user to see a list of line item from the clients budget. The details of the line item can be accessed by tapping on the item where the user can see important details that include:
- Item Number (Traditionally the exact reference to the line item # provided by a builder or contractor)
- Description of Work (Traditionally the exact name a contractor or builder has labeled the work they are performing)
- Sub-Description (additional context or details)
- Current Scheduled Value (Total cost budgeted for the work described)
- Draw Amount Requested (Amount currently being requested for the work performed on a pending draw request)
- Balance to Finish (Amount currently remaining to finish the described work, including the requested amount of any pending draws)
- Cost Type (Direct Costs=DC, Indirect Costs=IC, and Other Costs=OC describe the type of costs labeled by the client)
- Additional Options designed by the three vertical dots that allow for options to add general site notes or make the item as non-inspectable
- Progress bar (change the overall % complete to the work description)
- Comments (Context to the work performed on in some cases not performed as determined by the user)
- Take Photo Icon (Launches the devices camera)
This workflow allows the user to add photos to the line item description and then add additional photos, descriptions and comments before the final submission of the inspection.
Benefits to this workflow allow the user to inspect item by item and have the photo description auto populate based on the line item they are added to. This helps reduce time in labeling photos.
